Refund Policy

Short version: Refunds are available within 24 hours of your first charge if you have not used paid features. After 24 hours, charges are non-refundable. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.

24-Hour Refund Window

If you upgrade to a paid plan and request a refund within 24 hours of the initial charge, and you have not made substantial use of paid features, you are eligible for a full refund of that charge.

"Substantial use" means: publishing posts using paid features, or accessing paid analytics beyond the free tier allowance.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Go to Profile → Subscription → Cancel Subscription in the app
  2. Our system checks your eligibility automatically
  3. If eligible, the refund is processed immediately
  4. Funds appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days

Alternatively, email support@chiru.io within the 24-hour window with your account email and reason.

No Refunds After 24 Hours

After the 24-hour window, all subscription charges are non-refundable, including partial month or partial year charges. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. Your account then reverts to the Free plan — your data and posts are retained.

App Store Billing

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google respectively. Chiru has no control over app store billing refunds.
